Background: |
Central Effluent Treatment Plant is the concept of treating effluents by means of a collective effort mainly for a cluster of small-scale industrial units. The main objective of CETP is to reduce the treatment cost for individual units while protecting the environment.

Objective: |
The main objective of the project is :
• Enhancing predictability of future treatment values, improving planning and decision-making processes. • Ensuring compliance with discharge standards, thereby enhancing environmental performance and regulatory compliance. • Establishing thresholds to facilitate proactive management and system optimization. • Minimizing operating costs by reducing chemical usage, leading to potential cost savings and improved economic efficiency. • Maintaining enhanced control over wastewater quality through continuous seeding of microorganisms, ensuring consistent and superior treatment performance. • Develop a world-class project for BTMC in terms of advanced construction technologies, safety and security based on seismic design principles and ecologically sustainable green construction principles. |
